About Us
We've been a downtown Winston-Salem attraction since 1947. (Check out the original photos, posters and signs on the walls!) After 59 years, Pete Bambalis (everybody loves Pete) along with his son, George, have given a new look to this classic Twin City tavern.


As George puts it, "The best things in life never change... they just get better." As a result, Recreation Billiards has once again become the center city gathering spot. So sit back, relax, and enjoy a great glass of wine or beer at this cozy neighborhood bar where you'll rekindle old friendships and make new ones along the way.
